Our Mission
Our Work In Action

Take a look at the many ways Concerned Citizens Of St. John Parish are making a difference,  Our Mission is to ensure the health and safety of all citizens while working to hold government officials, and industry accountable for the quality of air being polluted by chemical emissions in our parish; thus ensuring the health of families for generations to come.   We are working together with the EPA  DEQ AND  LEAN.  We are striving to gain the assistance of all citizens inviting all residents to join us in what will be a continuous vigilance to this on- going situation.   Our photos and videos are a true testament to the immense impact our activities have on individuals and organizations. We dream of our parish as a better place where everyone is concerned with making a change. Step by step, our dreams  become a reality.

The Concerned Citizens Of St.John know that sometimes all it takes to change the world is a little support. We're here to lend a hand, offer assistance, and be a voice of reason for those who need it. Since the beginning of our Organization in 2016, we’ve worked hard to improve and shed light on the quality of the air we breath in our Parish and surrounding areas. Currently we are raising funds for our movement of awareness.  Please join us .

Here at Citizens Of St. John Parish, we are committed to a single goal; we strive to make our Parish a  better and safe place to live. Our mission is to raise awareness about the high levels of Chloraprene in the atmosphere surrounding the Denka/Dupont facility amongst other issues that have  or may result from exposure. Explore our site to learn more about all that we’re doing to make a change. We are a private, non-profit organization dedicated to finding solutions to this potential health hazard. We welcome volunteers to help zone in and overcome the challenges, while developing meaningful relationships with constituents of St. John the Baptist and surrounding Parishes.
